Cardiff Rivers Group have two events on this weekend, the main clear up will be on Sunday the 16th of May in Hailey Park - collecting the trapped rubbish from river banks, and dragging them up to the path, where Gareth the Countryside Ranger will be with his work pick up truck/van as well as litter picking the surrounding area & woods.
Volunteers to meet outside the Rugby Club changing rooms car park at 09:45 for a safety briefing. Hailey Park is a short distance from Llandaff railway station. Parking is available at the end of Radyr Road, See Bing Maps.
On the Saturday morning [15th], Cardiff Rivers Group will undertake some knottweed clearance in the same area.
Please can you let Louise know if you are coming so we can ensure we have enough equipment. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing. We will provide the rest of the equipment.
