CAKE PROMISED August 18th!

Cardiff Trail Scrubs have announced that there will be cake at their next event.

That's right - cake! 

Um probably some details about the event below - I seem to have got somewhat distracted by the whole cake revelation...

The next Cardiff Trail Scrubs event will be at 10am on Sat 18th August 2012. They are returning to the Ely Trail to remove the invasive monstrosity that is Himalayan Balsam! The plant has taken over a wide area along the trail, preventing local plant life take seed.

There is very limited parking at the site, there is parking by Asda which is just a short stroll to the trail head.

As always, equipment and insurance will be provided, please bring along sturdy shoes, big strong muscles and a raincoat just in case.

And an appetite. For the cake...
