3. Please see below recruitment opportunity from CRG’s treasurer Cath, who works for Draintech Surveys ltd. Please pass on to anyone who may be interested as they are very keen to offer this opportunity to KWT/CRG volunteers before advertising in job centres. Whilst no experience is needed, ideally they would prefer candidates with some experience of volunteering in conservation/rivers/ecology to act as team leaders. They are looking for committed, enthusiastic and reliable people
Salary: £7.50/hour 40 hours per week
Start: January/February 2013
Duration: Approx 6 months (or until work completed)
Areas of work: Each River Ranger team will comprise of 2 people and it is anticipated that there will be 4 teams in South East Wales, 2 teams in North Wales (including parts of Cheshire), and 1 team in South West, Herefordshire and Mid Wales.
