There will be a variety of activities: for the adventurous, why not don some waders and pull out the trolleys, a calf hutch and other items from the deep water.
For those sensible people who don’t want to risk getting wet, you can either tackle the Himalayan balsam or litter pick along Ely trail up to Birdies Lane.
There are also some ghastly sights near to Ely bridge (see Facebook photos for details). In summary, this area is bogging and there will be loads to do whichever activity you prefer.

Look out Dave’s truck parked outside the Body shop. The Body shop will be shut on Sunday and has many parking spaces.
As usual, all tools and equipment will be provided, but please wear long sleeves as there will be lots of stinging nettles and brambles, appropriate clothing and strong shoes or boots.
Please let me know if you can make it so we can gauge the numbers.
Come with us this weekend and make a difference!
Kind regards
Nigel (standing in for Lou)
PS: If you do find any real treasure, please let me know and we’ll split it 50:50 J
