The Bute
Park Restoration Project has been short-listed for a 2012
National Lottery Award under the category Best Heritage Project. The National
Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK's
favourite Lottery-funded projects and they aim to celebrate and recognise the
difference that those projects have made to people, places and communities all
across the UK.
Following selection from hundreds of entries by an
independent judging panel, we and nine other projects are in the semi-final.
The semi-final is judged by the public and the three projects with the most
public votes in each category will go through to a final televised on the BBC
One Show.
The semi-final round voting starts at 9am on Tuesday 26 June, and lasts until midnight on Sunday 22 July
