This Saturday 9th February, at 11am we will be tackling the river bank alongside Hamadryad Park. As a result of the recent storms and high water level of the Taff, the boom that usually collects rubbish that flows down the river was overwhelmed resulting in a huge amount of rubbish being deposited along the river bank. The Harbour Authority has asked for our assistance in tackling this eyesore.
The event officially starts at 11am (although Dave will be there for 9-30 for those especially keen) in Hamadryad Park. Meet near entrance at end of Clarence Embankment (where parking is available) and look out for the purple truck in the Park.

This is a particularly bad area and we would welcome as many volunteers as possible to help us.
If we can circulate as wide as possible via Facebook, twitter, e-mail, other groups etc that would be great. very keen to show what we can do.
