The Keep Wales Tidy photo competition closing date is looming, so send in your favourite snapshots of the Welsh environment for a chance to feature in a KWT calendar 2014. Visit http://www.keepwalestidy.org/photocompetition2013 for all details. The deadline for entries is 31st July 2013.
This Sunday is the perfect opportunity to snap away and get some great photos of volunteers in action, as we will be helping the ‘Friends of Bute Park’ remove the invasive weed, Himalayan Balsam. We will also get rid of any litter and waste we see along the banks of the River Taff.

Time: 11am – 1pm
Meet: Secret Garden Cafe area (look out for purple truck)

We will provide tools, equipment and insurance, but please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. All waste will be collected by Cardiff Council’s Parks Services. Please let us know if you are coming along.
