Cardiff Rivers Group welcome in the New Year with a joint event with the RSPB and a new ‘client’, the Cardiff Bay Harbour Authority.
This will be an important clean up to improve the appearance of the bay to visitors (cybermen, daleks etc) top this fine city of ours, and to exterminate rubbish which may be harmful to wildlife, so a wing, wing (groan) for the CRG & RSPB!
The Bay Authority will be providing us with one of their skip barges on the day so that the rubbish can be taken to their waste facility and processed there with their big sonic screw driver. If numbers are sufficient, we will also undertake a general litter pick along the water line close to the children’s park.
